Yay, the semester is over! I survived. Much artwork was accomplished; it was a good day—several months—whatever. This break, as with every break, has caused me to ponder and reflect. And in this spirit of Zen-like reflection, I have decided that it’s time for a change: so I’m changing my blog theme. I know, “big deal”. Well, I’m also doing a little spring cleaning, as well. Looking back through some of my old entries (most of them for Illustration Friday), I will be deleting a few, in favor of leaving the “quality” ones. This is a good thing: I want to gear up for more quality content, here. I’ll still post the occasional doodle, but it’s time to get ambitious! We need more tutorials, too, don’t we?
Ok, good, so in the months to come, I will share with you some of the cool tricks and things that I learned in Digital Illustration. So, for all of you Photoshop fiends out there: buckle up; this month’s for you!

Oh, and also, you are going to get a taste of my new book: The Awakening Game. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is a book that I’ve been writing for about a year, now.
For those of you who do know what it is, I have decided to take my “rapideyestudios.com” blog and consolidate it with this one. Look under the Pages section for “The Awakening Game” to read exerpts; this, in addition to, the blogging that I will do on my progress. I will also be releasing segments of the book, as time goes on—that’s for you, Mona. :o ) Hope you all, enjoy!

  2. Jade! You have an INCREDIBLE website and amazing tutorial on building a website, which I just started going through. If I can make the time I am definitely going to see that one through. Thank you so much for putting it together. Let me know if you got those photos from figure drawing class ok?
