This was an exercise using Newsprint and Charcoal for the first time. Quite liked it. 4B Charcoal is my preference, at the moment—seems to have a nice softness to compliment the texture of the newsprint (great darks, and gradation sensitivity)

Jade C. Rigby is a web designer having over five years experience, with aspirations of eventually becoming an artist in the entertainment industry, namely a concept artist—but he could settle for animator, special effects designer . . . really anything where he gets to be a part of "telling the story".
He is currently an Art Student at BYU-Idaho.
